Hey folks!

Cuteness is not my strongest side, but with valentine's I'm letting some of the cuteness in 😉 I had this idea and really wanted to make this little guy - I call him Lovetopus for obvious reasons.

He also has a buddy that accidentally broke the heart.

Instructions:

I recommend scaling him to 125% or more, at 100% he is really really tiny.

You have a single STL file and also a 3MF pre-colored version

You can print him in parts (The ones in my photos are in parts)

If you print in parts here are some points:

You print the eyes parts and assemble them by snapping all parts together

Put the eyes inside the sockets before you put the pupils - this will allow you to turn the eyes to position once they are inside. You might need to use some force to push them in.

Tolerance at 100% is tight, at 125% it's not very tight so you might need to find you printer's sweet spot by adjusting -2%+2% when printing the eyes. The larger you go the tolerance will become more lose and you might need to increase the sizes a bit.

Me version here is at 125% printed all parts as-is not adjustments.

Heart is printed and glued to the hands. All files with _"oops" in the belong to the broken heart version.

Small note - Gluing the hearts to the tentacles in the parts version will require some accuracy and a good glue to hold that small surface area!

My assembly for reference:

And if all these instructions give you a headache - Then there is a pre-colored 3MF 😉
