My favorite time - Spooky Season is almost here! This is Frankenstein's Skull - The first Halloween design for this year!

There are a few ways to print this dude. You can print only the Skull & Bolts - this way the skull can just be placed either with open or closed mouth.

Or you can print all the parts - The Spine and the box enable you to push Leds & Lights from the box to the Skull's eyes. The box can hold a battery or any other power source (small PowerBank for example) Both the box, the spine and the skull have holes which lead to the eye sockets. You can use some glue on the Spine if you feel it's not sturdy enough.

The skull has a locking mechanism - It's been tested with multiple filaments but only at 90% & 100% Scale, it may be to fragile at smaller sizes. If you feel it's too tight try heating it up a little bit before pushing inside. I will release a version without the mechanism and also a fixed jaw later and add it to the files which will also be used for Keychains.

Parts & Printing:

Skull: the skull is a print in place with a movable jaw and includes a 3MF file for Bambu AMS. You can print it without supports but will have some areas which will look better with supports enabled. You only need supports in the teeth area and optionally the upper eyes - See the image I provided. Make sure you don't have supports inside the jaw hinges.

Bolts: Just print and push into the designated holes in the skull

Spine (Optional): The spine has a small surface area make sure you add a brim for better adhesion - Enable supports only for the bottom third/quarter so it holds better on the build plate.

Box & Box Cover (Optional): Print with supports enabled.
