Collapsing Scottish Claymore - Print-in-Place
William Wallace - Scottish Claymore Print-in-Place Version
This is my take on a collapsing William Wallace’s Scottish Claymore. Not only is it ridiculously large but I also added another blade segment so it extends extra far. This version prints-in-place as one part, Its 320mm tall when printing but extends to 1530mm lg.
The Replaceable Blade version is available to my Thangs Members.
Printing Use a .4mm nozzle and set the line width to .43 so the blades are two shell thick. If you would like to scale it down try printing the vase mode version instead. Before printing make sure perform the test print found here I have detailed instructions on how to print collapsing swords on my website.
Note: I did not print this version, I printed the replaceable blade version. Let me know if you run into any issues.

helo, really cool desigh, btw if I adjust the scale, Height to 260mm or 250mm ish, will it probaly work fine? Thank you
Are you guys editing it on flashprint?
Print in place version the collapsible blade fuse together due to seam aligment, and I quite get how to update the setting. seems like the clearance between the parts is a bit tight.
Wondering if anyone has similar issue?
There is .35mm of clearance. Did you tune you layer seam with the test print before printing? You can tune retraction settings to reduce the size of the seam
