I added textures to my Original Planetary Egg Container using CNC Kitchen’s Texturizer software. I made a weave, knit, leather, basket, and a floral pattern. But you can also make your own very easily. I included a modified version of the original egg with more clearance so that you can easily add additional textures of your own.

When using the software, only put texture on the three outside surfaces of the egg, and select Spherical projection. You will have to turn down the max angle to 4-10 to only select these surfaces, you may have to play with it a little bit. Mask the bottom faces to 5mm. I used a amplitude of 1.5 max, more may cause issues. Also select “Symmetric Displacement”, to keep the walls thin.

The license allows you to modify and print the stl’s but it does not allow the modified files to be shared, please keep for personal use only.

Printed on a Prusa XL(aff.)
