Mini eShelf – Instant Shelf on the Wall
The Mini eShelf installs under your existing wall faceplate to create an instant shelf right on the wall.
Perfect for holding phones while charging, small devices, or anything that needs a handy resting spot near an outlet.
Key Features
- 100% printed – no hardware required
- 1-piece design – installs quickly under existing faceplates
- Multiple sizes included for various wallplate sizes
- Pass-through hole for cables and cords
🛠️ Instructions
- Unscrew the wallplate and place the Mini eShelf where the wallplate was removed
- Screw the wallplate back into place so it clamps the Mini eShelf securely
📏 Sizes
Wallplates are not standardized in size, so multiple versions are included:
- 70 × 114 mm (2.75 × 4.49 in) → common “normal” size
- 80 × 124 mm (3.15 × 4.88 in) → oversized faceplate
- 74 × 119 mm (2.91 × 4.69 in) → LogicalPlanet wallplates
(Measure your wallplate to determine the best fit before printing.)
⚠️ IMPORTANT
As the wall plates of switches and electrical outlets are considered part of a flame enclosure, it is important to use a flame-retardant / self-extinguishing filament when printing parts to be used in electrical applications.
More information and links to some suitable filaments can be found here:

Revisions and Updates I occasionally update and revise my designs. When I do, I’ll document the changes here. Check back periodically for the latest revision notes or if you’re experiencing any issues with a model. Please email me at logicalplanet3d@gmail.com if you would like me to make a revision or have comments about this design.

Rotate the model -90 degrees in X and print w/ the opening down. That completely negates the need for supports.
