Description

A beautiful and robust watering can – designed to be as big as possible for a regular 3D-printer. By printing it 45 degrees rotated, the z-height is used more efficiently while adding to stability due to bigger layers on the handle.

The watering can holds about 1,3 Liters Size standing (as it will be used): 278 x 160 x 160 mm

Print settings Required build volume: 190x190x250 mm Material usage: 220g

Material: PLA Print direction: Stl is rotated correctly, check images Support: none Nozzle size: 0,4 mm Line width: 0,4 mm Layer height 0,2 mm Outer walls: 5 Infill: 30% Top/Bottom Layers: 6

Make sure to use the wall count, infill and top/bottom layers – it won’t add too much of material usage and print time since the main wall thickness is 2 mm and will be solid anyway. These settings just make sure that the handle is super robust.

It printed well the way you provide the file but I would prefer a version with supports rather than to have a non textured part of the watering can be visible once it's done. Would you mind adding a second version which sits upright on the bed and has the part under the handle textured? I can add supports myself if that's something you don't want to put time into. Thank you.

I should have dried my filament before printing but it still turned out beautiful! I absolutely love all of the thought and detail put into this

Amolen PLA Galaxy Gold (although it's more green than gold). Came out very well overall.
