WallPlateMate Sample Set - Single-Gang Single-Sided Toggle Switch Style with WK1 Accessory
This is a sample WallPlateMate set from my collection of WallPlateMate connectors and accessories, designed for North American-style electrical outlets and switch wall plates. I’ve created WallPlateMate plates for 1, 2, and 3-gang configurations, including rocker-style, toggle-style, classic outlet, and blank covers.

What’s Included in This Sample Set?
- Single-gang, single-sided, toggle switch-style WallPlateMate
- WK1 Vertical Pocket – A versatile storage accessory that holds a wallet, phone, or similar items, as well as a ball cap. It also features three hooks for keys, glasses, or other small essentials.
What is WallPlateMate?
WallPlateMate allows you to attach functional and storage accessories to wall switches and electrical outlets seamlessly.

Compatibility & Installation
For users with North American-style switch and outlet covers, the WallPlateMate replaces traditional covers with a modular attachment system.
For users outside North America, I’ve developed the FlexPlate, which enables the same functionality without replacing an outlet or switch cover.
WallPlateMate plates install easily using existing wall plate screws, requiring no additional holes in the wall. They can be removed at any time.
FlexPlate Options (not included with this download)
As part of the greater WallPlateMate collection, I also have standalone plates that can be glued onto the wall, or screwed onto the wall. These allow the use of any WallPlateMate Accessory without attaching it to an electrical switch or outlet.
Print & Material Considerations
-
Print-in-place and compliant design – no assembly required.
-
Accessories snap on and off easily without tools, fasteners, or adhesives.
_⚠️Important Safety Note Wall plates for switches and electrical outlets are part of a flame enclosure, so it’s crucial to use a flame-retardant, self-extinguishing filament when printing parts for electrical applications. For more information and suitable filaments, check out: 3D Printing with Flame-Retardant Materials https://all3dp.com/1/3d-printing-with-flame-retardant-materials/ PETG V0 – Flame-Retardant Filament https://www.prusa3d.com/en/product/prusament-petg-v0-jet-black-1kg Prusament _
Print Settings
For the best results, I suggest the following: Material = PLA / PETG Nozzle = 0.4mm Layer Height = 0.2mm Line Width = 0.4mm Wall Count = 4 (1.6mm) Top and Bottom Layer Count = 5 Detect Thin Walls = ON Wall Generator = Arachne Infill = 40% (Cubic) Ironing = Not required Brim = Should not be needed Support = No, all required support is incorporated into the design. Print orientation = As per the STL/3MF files.

Nice, I like the colours too. Thank you for posting the make.
I am really thinking about making a controller attachment so i can charge my xbox elite 2 and dualshocks
I can try to do that for you if you have the dimensions I need for the controllers.
Can you share the file please for the accessory fitting. I would like to do an accessory for a Deco Wireless Router!
Yes, for sure. Sorry for the late replay. Can you email me at pdb6251@gmail.com and I will email you the file. I will get it posted eventually but this will be faster.
possible to create variations of WPM accessories for horizontally installed wall plugs?
For sure. Which style of plates and how many gangs would you need?
These are an awesome idea. Too bad the wallplates don't fit my Prusa Mini bed plate. I know I could print the FlexPlate separately, but my wife wouldn't go for me adding holes in the wall.
I have also posted a stick on version which works really well with the removable 3M Command Strips.
what infill and how much?
Hi Sorry, somehow I missed a few comments including this one... Infill won't matter too much. I use 40% cubic by default and it works well.
I have some outlets that are oriented horizontally. Would it be possible to create faceplates with this orientation?
Absolutely, and a great idea. can you give me a photo of the outlets and I will make them for you?
