Modular Desktop Fountain
It's like a desktop zen rock garden, but with water!
Introduction and assembly video
Printing
- All parts can be printed without supports.
- Use a brim if you have bed adhesion or curling issues.
- Print the base with extra perimeters and a high temp to prevent leaking. If there are still leaks, seal the base with Mod Podge or similar plastic-safe varnish.
Hardware
Submersible USB pump with adjustable flow https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CG2YE6K
M3 Bolts or Glue Bolts can be as short as 4mm or as long as 16mm
Assembly
- Attach fountain parts to their plates using glue and/or M3 bolts.
- Place pump(s) in the base wherever you want a fountain to start.
- Thread the pump cord through the base until you reach the side of the base where you want it to come out.
- Snap in fountain parts.
- Fill fountain with water.
- Test. Adjust the pump flow accordingly.
- Add extra decoration (stones, plants, 3D prints) as desired.

Warning: Not for Pets!
Please note that this fountain is not a safe water bowl for pets. 3D printed objects can easily grow bacteria between layers. This is true even when using “food safe” plastics.
