Spice rack supports - Chinese sticks upcycling
This bracket is designed to make a spice rack using 4 disposable Chinese sticks.
We had many of these disposable sticks that come with Asian takeaway food and thought this would be a good way to upcycle some of them.
Details
The bracket has 4 slots with size 5 x 6.7 mm. The sticks we used for making it are 4.8 x 6.5 mm, so we added a total clearance of 0.2 mm. The fit may vary depending on the size of the sticks you use, your printer's calibration and the filament you use.
The depth of the slots is 10 mm.
To assemble it, cut the sticks so the smaller end is roughly the size of the larger one.
Cut them about the same size, with a difference of no more than 5 mm, otherwise the shorter one might fall off.
Recommended screw type: Countersunk head Metric: 3.5 x 16 mm Imperial: #6 (9/64) x 5/8 in

Printing
Print in the provided orientation for best results.
We printed it on our Prusa Mini+ using a 0.6 mm nozzle and 0.3 mm layers, 10% infill, 3 perimeters, 2 bottom layers and 4 top layers.
The parts have a built-in support tab, so you don't need to enable supports generation. The tab is 0.3 mm thick, so you need to use Arachne perimeter generator or enable “thin walls detection” in your slicer.
