-=[ UPDATE 08-26-19 ]=- After about a month of use, the first version snapped it's little head off. I have redesigned this so that it utilizes a much larger hexagon guide pin. This time the hex is a part of the rod and goes into the handle instead of the other way around. I also provided a hole going all the way through both pieces for a 3.5mm bolt to secure the two parts together rather than relying on a glue joint. The bolt should be about 50mm long.
*In case you're wondering why the first uploads were just rod.stl and handle.stl, while the latest uploads are rod_v5.stl and handle_v5.stl... I mean, yeah, really. What happened to versions one through four? Well, the first version I uploaded was actually version four. I didn't anticipate having to redesign it, so I didn't bother with a version number. But... my life being what it is... shit happens and I get to fix things. Every. Freaking. Thing. Meh... makes life interesting. I kind of feel sorry for people who don't ever have to fix anything :) *
I know there are several of these on here already, but I didn't really like the shape of the handles. Besides that, I just like re-inventing the wheel :)
This is designed to reuse the through bolt and nut from the original toilet flusher, since the rod was what broke on mine. The rod - instead of the handle - slides through the hole and mates with the handle via a snug, hexagonal pin. I used a little SCIGRIP 16 10315 Acrylic Cement to ensure it wouldn't come apart, but it's snug enough, that probably wasn't necessary.
NOTE Due to either a Thingiverse bug or (more likely) shadowbanning, my models no longer show up under the [Newest] listings. If you want to see more of my models, please be sure to 'follow' me. If you print this, it would really help if you'd post a 'make' so that others could find this model.
