The model is designed to fit together nicely and using supports print well with default tree settings.

The model stands about 6” tall at 100% scale. Some parts snap together, while others require glue for assembly. The eye pieces are particularly small, so I recommend printing extras and using tweezers during assembly for easier handling.

Here is the list of filament used. Elegoo: Brown, Matte White, Matte Beige (face), Black, BlueGrey Sunlu: Burlywood (tan parts) Overture Pla Pro: Chocolate (side hair pieces)

Here’s a quick guide on how to build the model: Glue the hands with pegs and snap in the center tan spot, ensuring the flat part faces his feet. Assemble the ears using glue. Build each eye separately, paying attention to distinguish between right and left pieces. Once tested, glue the colors together and secure them in the eye sockets. Glue on the eyebrows, ensuring the flat part aligns with his face and the top sits flush with his head to accommodate the tan visor. Snap in the mustache (optional glue). It may initially feel like it doesn’t fit perfectly, but angling the mustache towards him will help it snap into place securely. Attach the side hair pieces to the brown hoodie, pressing them firmly inward with the longer side on top and curving towards his face. Gently press the face into the hoodie, allowing the side hair pieces to secure it slightly. Once positioned correctly, glue it in place and slide on the visor for a flush fit. Insert the head pin into the body and head - it will fit tight fit. You can glue it for permanence or leave it loose for adjustable posing, though repeated adjustments may loosen it over time. Assemble the tail using glue. There are 5 pins (3 long, 2 short); insert the 3 long pins first from top of the tail working down, then use the last two shorter pins. Make sure the tail is fully glued, then finally press the completed tail snugly into the body. Finally, enjoy your completed Tanooki Mario model!
