Print-in-Place Precision
This week I made a print-in-place folding scalpel which I find to be an excellent detail knife that beats out all my other "exacto" style knives. Best for detail work (not heavy duty). But the real excitement of this design is printing in place a very tight tolerance that has virtually no play in it. As a result, a little work is needed to break it free after you take it off the build plate but when you get it free, it is nice. If you are interested, please check out my video (https://youtu.be/Gv9ZoQZFOiY) for a better explanation of the post-print work needed.
