Tea bag dispenser (FREE)
I designed a tea bag dispenser a long time ago and finally had an idea how to make it better! The original idea behind the design is to make the grabbing of a tea bag fast and easy. By having all of them rotated at 45 degrees – the “taking out” movement is quite ergonomical. Compared to a design where the bags sit horizontally, this approach also reduces the chance of grabbing two bags by accident. It also enables you to see which kind of tea is inside the dispenser without having to place an extra one at front or writing down what is inside.
All of this was already fulfilled by the old V1 – but it bothered me that the refill process was not particularly nice. With this new slid version, you can refill the container while it is laid down horizontally and open. The slid also allows you to quickly lift the cover a bit if a tea bag gets stuck. This update makes this design a very convenient solution for all tea lovers.
By adapting the holder to the rail system of my spice rack and tool wall – you can now combine this with other storage parts like the spice holder.
This issue was stuck in my head for years now and I am relieved that I was finally able to solve it!
