More Bananas!

After the bowl and lamp, I am pleased to bring you another banana design. Fridge magnets that you can stack together!

Fortunately, those are small prints, because this project took me a lot of prototypes. I had to juggle printability, optics, magnetism and alignment at the same time – so every minor change had unforeseen downstream effects. It ended up working but I almost abandoned the idea multiple times.

The use one of the most common magnet diameters – 10 mm. Even though the design process was complicated – the printing is easy, supportless and fast. Even the multi color version does produce little waste in time and material – since they print flat.

After finally printing the final multi color version – I was a little amazed how fun they are. Super cute and quite functional!
