A unique fruit bowl made from 3d printed parts and commercially usual wooden skewers. It uses little material and is way more stable than it looks. It can handle a lot of fruit.

Instructions

  • Print the base and 50 of the connectors (sideways like in the picture)
  • Buy a pack of 50 wooden skewers (you can get them for a few bucks in most super markets or online; maybe buy some more in case you break any) Size: 200mm x 3mm
  • Start the assembly: begin pushing in the skewers with the flat end into the base on the RIGHT next to the cut out
  • Push in all the skewers and add the connectors clockwise
  • Push the last skewer into the connectors and bend it a little into the cut out.
  • Enjoy!

Size assembled: ca 420 x 420 x 110 mm This is the V2

Print settings Required build volume: 110 x 110 x 30 mm Material usage: 30g for the base + 100g for 50 connectors = 130g Print time: 3h for the base + 2x 5h for 25 connectors = 13h
