In the morning I woke early and started a high density TPU print of one of my chainmail designs but it went bad. Stripping it off the build plate, it looked like lace so I thought I would experiment and see if it could become a business, 3D printing knickers. That evening I went full caveman glory drawing on the motief and this is the result. Sadly, I discovered the next day, that s3xy knickers are so cheap on aliexpress that it wasn't worth ditching my day job, even at my super fast print time, it wasn't going to be a big earner. A little miffed as I had all of the rest of the ideas to make it a great success in my head. Still. Inspiration for many more designs and inventions lurks here! Day 1 lace experiment. Print in TPU with first layer set at 0.5mm, slow. It's a short print.
Note with all these that the wall angle is critical for good joins. I changed it from 10 degrees to 40 in Cura especially to get these single layer prints strong and perfect as could be.
