After uploading the Mako 69 V2 I saw that it was conveniently split down the middle between the QWERTY which means that the keyboard could easily be converted into a split keyboard.
To connect the clamps to the main bodies you will need m4 screws
You only need to unsolder the space bar whilst for other parts you can just cut and extend the cable depending on how you built it.
The large holes are for the wires to pass through for those people who are ambitious you can refer to the Redox keyboard and use the 2 microcontroller way.
STUFF YOU NEED TO DO FOR THIS TO WORK For the space bars you will need an extra switch and will need to re configure the software to suit the extra key. Keycaps should be able to fit a maximum of a caps lock sized key without stabilzers (stabs version coming soon). However the distance of the of the key to the alt key is enough to fit a shift key (non iso layout)
