Disclaimer:
- These spacers were designed based off of measurements I made on my K1 Series 3D printer. I do not have a K1C or K1 Max, so I can't guarantee that they will work with either of the other printers.
- DO NOT use the printer with the spacers on the lead screws. This could potentially damage the printer.
- The efficacy of these parts rely on the accuracy of your printer, and how well you are able to stabilize the lead screws. Multiple attempts may be necessary.
- Re-Alignment of the bed may not be necessary if you see a maximum deviation of .5mm or less.
Information: These spacers are designed to help address the difficulty in aligning the bed on the K1 series 3D printers from Creality. The top portion of the printer has slight deviances in the heights of the lead screws, and therefore different height spacers are needed. The smallest spacer is designed for the rear lead screw, and the taller spacers for the front screws. The idea is to place these spacers right below the upper most limits of the Z axis, turn the printer over, disengage the Z axis synchronization belt, and manually move the bed down until all 3 points are contacting the spacers. This should allow you to bring the bed to much closer alignment than you previously had.
