This object is a print in place design to capture the inner follower within the tool. This is intended to help plant seeds in a garden. As you push to outer shell into the soil, the follower will be pushed up revealing measurements. The soil stays inside the outer shell as you pull the dirt out to plant the seed. Push the follower back down to replace the dirt on top of the seed. This has been printed and tested and works as intended. I am not a gardener. I asked my girlfriend what she thought and she helped explain to me what she wanted as I designed it showing her the different versions. She lives across the country and this competition allowed for some creativity and bonding between me and her as we communicated over video chat to describe the different aspects and functions of the designs.
