Presenting the Bottle Opener This project was created with the elderly in mind. In fact, the idea behind this project came from observing my grandmother struggling to open a bottle.
This problem is common for our grandparents or anyone without grip strength. I therefore thought that this device would be useful for those who need a little help.
The files provided are for bottles with a cup diameter of 29,5 and 39,5 for the “ApriCola” model and 31.5 for "ApriCola_31.5. If you want to open the common bottles, you can use the 29.5-mm-diameter side of "ApriCola." If you want to open the bottle, it is better to use the 39.5mm side.
MATERIAL: The material used is regular PLA. It might be better to print it with PETG, as it is a more elastic material and can better withstand stretching and shortening stresses. Try and let me know how the design performs.😉
** CUSTOMISABLE:** The model provided can be printed with regular slicer profile, but if you want it to look more particular, you might play with slicer setting (infill type, infill density and top/bottom)
