Spiderman Stained Glass Light Box

Check out my latest creation—a dynamic stained glass model featuring a familiar wall-crawling superhero! 🕷🌆 This piece captures the energy and movement of a cityscape, with vibrant colors and sharp details bringing it to life.

I had a lot of fun designing this one, especially experimenting with the interplay of the intricate web lines and the urban background. The bold colors really pop when backlit, giving it a unique stained glass effect.

The filaments I've used are a mix of Bambu Lab, Polymaker and Extrudr filaments. The parts that resemble the stained glass are printed in Bambu Lab PETG Translucent Light Blue, Brown, Olive and Purple. Extrudr PETG Transparent Red and Blue and Polymaker Polylite PETG Transparent. The multicolor parts are printed using color change on layer to the filament Bambu Lab Basic PETG Black.

The front and back frame are both printed in Bambu Lab Basic PETG Black. All the other parts are all printed in Bambu Lab Basic PLA. The box, lid and led panel or led strip holder are printed in the color black, the diffuser is printed in the color white.

The box and the lid have little compartments where you can glue in magnets (width 6mm & height 3mm) but this is optional and not needed to keep the lid on the box.

• Arachne wall generator or detect thin walls

• Outer brim recommended

Diffuser

• 100% infill
• Outer brim recommended

Box & Lid

• Outer wall speed 90 for consistent surface finish
• Seam position: Back
