Fallout Mini Nuke - Display Model
If you have spent any time wandering the Wasteland, you already know this shape.
The Mini Nuke is one of the most iconic pieces of weaponry in the Fallout universe. Designed as compact nuclear ammunition for the Fat Man launcher, it became a symbol of the series’ retro-futuristic world. Heavy, industrial, slightly absurd, and completely committed to that 1950s vision of the future.
This lamp is a tribute to that design language.
From Wasteland Weapon to Display Piece
The goal was to stay as faithful as possible to the original silhouette:
- Rounded warhead tip
- Thick segmented body
- Bold riveted banding
- The unmistakable front triangle marking
- Chunky stabilizing fins
The top dome is printed in red, matching the warning-style look of the in-game Mini Nuke. The mid-band and front triangle are also designed as separate accent pieces, making this model ideal for clean color separation and detailed finishes.
It is instantly recognizable, even without context. Fallout fans will spot it immediately.
A Piece of Fallout History
Fallout’s visual identity blends Cold War paranoia with optimistic 1950s futurism. The Mini Nuke captures that contrast perfectly. It is intimidating and ridiculous at the same time, which is exactly why it works.
As a display model, it makes a great addition to:
- Game rooms
- Display shelves
- Collector setups
- Fallout themed decor
Designed for Makers
This display model is fully optimized for FDM printing:
- Multi-part construction for easy color separation
- Red top dome as a visual focal point
- Clean seams and practical tolerances
- Scales well if you want a larger or smaller shelf centerpiece
Print it in classic olive green with a red dome for that authentic Fallout aesthetic, or experiment with alternate color schemes for different faction vibes.
