If you make leather watch straps, then you know how a Watch Strap Bending Tool can be an essential accessory to make leather straps. Designed to shape and mold leather watch straps effortlessly, this tool ensures a perfect curve every time. I added two openings in the front so you can slide a metal rod or piece of filament to the front of the strap. This tool helps provide a smooth surface for bending and gluing leather straps. 

**Please Note: ** You can smooth out the top layer of the tool by modifying the variable layer height. I printed this on a BambuLabs P1s - Here is how to do it. Otherwise, the tool I added here, I printed with small ridges at the top. I did this because the leather I use for the bottom of the strap (Chevre) has dimples. I usually add sticky tape to the tool, so it “sticks” the leather to the tool. If I make it smooth (similar to wood) sometimes the leather gets too stuck to the tape and leaves residue.

Over the years, I've pieced together a number of templates for my leather hobby. Recently, I started to experiment with all-in-one leather templates that I could print out. 

This is a 3D Printed Leather Watch Strap Template. This is a solution designed to simplify the creation of a luxury (Luxury is subjective of course) leather watch strap. This template is specifically crafted for a 22mm watch strap, featuring all the necessary components in a contained design that ensures everything fits perfectly in place.

**_Included in the template are:_**

**Centering Jig:** Which help in aligning all parts accurately during assembly.
**Band Templates:** These sections outline where to cut the leather for the watch strap.
**Small band loops:** The loops that will hold the leather bands together.

**You need to have a bit of knowledge about leather working**, but assuming you do, this can help create the watch strap easier.

One of the common challenges in leathercraft, particularly when gluing pieces together, is the tendency for the “inner” leather to bubble up and detach from the glue when you bend it. This is particularly messy when you're making bifold wallets. This can compromise the integrity and appearance of the project.

To prevent that, you can make a bending jig. Usually, you'll find these made out of wood, but why buy it when you can print it? This is our version of said jig: The 3D Leather Bending Tool Triangle - This bending jig addresses this issue by providing a controlled, uniform bending radius that minimizes stress on the glued joints. This helps give you a smooth and secure bond as the leather conforms to the desired shape. The goal is to help your bends maintain the quality and durability of your leather goods.

Bending Widths: 10mm, 12mm, 15mm.

**Instructions:**

- Take two pieces of leather and apply glue to the rough sides.
- Select the desired bending width on the jig.
- Position your leather pieces as marked on the jig.
- Apply pressure evenly to fold the leather over the jig, creating a perfect bend.

PS: You can change the dimensions in one direction only and make this taller. In case you want a much larger piece.
