#pdo | Halloween Mask - Simple | NoahMillerDesign

This is a simple Halloween mask designed for the #pdo Halloween 3D Modeling Challenge. This model was designed using a combination of 3D scanning and 3D modeling in Fusion 360. The initial surface geometry was created by taking a 3D scan of my face. This surface geometry was inserted into Fusion 360 as an OBJ mesh. From there, the surface geometry was cleaned up to have nice edges and it’s tessellation density was adjusted to be low enough to model effectively, but high enough to retain a substantial amount of detail. Once the surface geometry was ready, it was patched to form a solid body and cut with an offset surface identical to the original to create a thin sheet. With the base of the mask complete, all of the eye, nose, mouth, and strap holes were added, making it a fully functional wearable mask.
