9 mm Big Thread, Push-fit Flat Head, Shank Folded-Bolt

“Folded Bolts” are the strongest type of 3D printed bolt because of their print orientation, and they have better grip strength than a T-Bolt.

This bolt has a “big thread” that can screw directly into the Multiboard tiles.

The 9mm thread length is perfect for attaching standard 3mm accessories to Multiboard tiles without protruding through the other side, making it ideal for Multiboards mounted on a surface.

The bolt also has a 3mm shank allowing you to fasten threaded accessories without the bolt causing any unintended shifting or rotation of the accessory.

It has a “flat” head to facilitate clearance in case the bolt head is in the way (like a corner in a shelf bracket).

It also has a “push-fit head” to insert push-fit accessories and screw in bolts/rods that have a mid thread.

Printing Guidelines:

The printing orientation is as provided in the file. The print has been designed to be “3 wall perimeters” in wall thickness. Printed at a layout height of 0.2 mm. It doesn't need printing supports. Use the default 15% infill. This part has been designed with a tolerance of 0.25 mm. Your printer will need to be able to bridge gaps of up to 30 mm for some designs.
