This is an extruder upgrade for the Wanhao/Monoprice Duplicator i3 Mini (NOT FOR Monoprice Select Mini). This supports flex filaments as well as stronger feed of PLA and PETG (no slipping). This will get you a consistent extrusion.
Note that this will not solve bed adhesion issues. For all 3D printers with non-heated beds, I have found the best solution to be three steps:
1st the cheapest, be sure you are getting a good first layer, get the bed as level as possible.
2nd is a can of hair spray (AquaNet is the best) a short spray of the bed surface before printing will correct 80-90% of the adhesion problems after you have leveled the bed (helps the part to stick to the build surface).
3rd is a quality print bed surface, the one that comes with the printer is junk. I have put the following bed material on all of my 3D printers (5 and counting). https://www.th3dstudio.com/product/th3d-ezmat-build-surface/ Be sure to remove the old build surface and clean the plate before adding a new build surface.
I use all of the above together and I get great prints from this little printer.
This extruder has arm options: Standard: for plain filament feed PTFE: for a press fit PTFE tube out to your roll or dry box. Bowden Fitting: If you are going to use a PC4-M6 Bowden Tube Fitting and an M6 nut.
