[Remastered Files!] The Halo Infinite Master Chief helmet and armor has been added to the Specialist rewards!

It's finally ready!!! After many weeks of tuning, prototyping, and improving - the remastered Halo Infinite Master Chief helmet and armor is complete!

My original files were from a collaboration with CoeIndustries, however these new ones are completely made from the ground up in-shop. With that - everything I've learned about designing and cosplaying have been put into these files. There's a lot of good designers out there but not many that also personally use their files in their own cosplay builds so I'm very proud to say these files will be the groundwork of my own personal Master Chief build!

Let's talk about the files a bit:

  • The original files were scaled to Master Chief's huge proportions - these are scaled according to all the other armors we make: 6' tall and around 200lbs.
  • The files are all pre-separated and pre-cut for smaller printers. Separation lines are hidden among natural seam lines of the armor for flawless prints.
  • Some parts have been pre-separated to use foam/TPU in conjunction with the typical armor prints. Things like gasketing around the arms or the neck collar are best made of something flexible for maximum comfort.
  • Different versions of the vents on the back/shoulders are available for cooling/ventilation. Open areas mean you can attach fans to blow out hot air and keep you cool!
  • The buckles for the chest and back have been separated and holes cut through for metal buckles to function instead of printed ones.

All that's just the armor, the helmet also has its own slew of features:

  • All the assembled and pre-separated versions you're used to
  • A sizing slice at the head opening for help scaling the helmet (default scaled to fit up to 24.5" circumference heads)
  • Visor buck for vacuum forming (we're going to begin transitioning our vacuum formed visors for this as well)
  • Bambu Studio project and GCODE files to get printing sooner
  • This is what I'm really excited about: There are a lot of weird separation lines on the helmet but we took them and pre-modeled flat ridges inside the helmet so there's always a nice flat side to print on without affecting the outer helmet. This means all the parts are SUPER easy to print and assemble.
  • Different vent styles are also included. The typical slim ones are for SLA high detail printing but we also made an FDM version with a flat backside so you can lay it flat on the build plate and get a perfect print on an FDM printer too!

I think that covers about everything! Hope y'all enjoy!

Just a reminder I need all Helldiver helmet submissions by FRIDAY morning! If you're not submitted by the time voting goes live you're at a severe disadvantage.
