[New Files!] The 1:48 Scale AAT Tank has been added to the February rewards!

I'm very excited to show you guys this tank as it's been a long time in R&D! Despite it's small scale it has quite an exciting assortment of features - including actual levitation!!

Let's begin with part separation - each part has been thoughtfully separated for the easiest printing. The included Bambu Studio files also include the pieces in the best orientation but also the best weight distribution. Due to the nature of the tank, if you print it in uniform infill it will want to tip backwards. To counter this you'll want to print the front portion in around 60% infill to properly balance it. The 3mf files have this part pre-set to print at that density!

Now the fun part - levitation! This took quite a few attempts to get it right but I finally found a good magnet system that could support enough weight and balanced well. Check the link in the 'Materials Needed' doc for a link. You'll want to be extra careful with the magnets as they're quite strong but all it takes is inserting the small magnet into the bottom of the tank and boom - instant actual levitation! I'll also be releasing a tutorial video on social medias later today for a visual reference as well.

2mm diameter rods are used in miscellaneous parts and I'd recommend picking up a set (again, link is in the doc). They are used down the barrel for reinforcement, as radio antennas on the backside, and on the top hatch as a hinge so it can actually open. We'll be making a line of corresponding droid minis to fit in the hatch as well!

Hope you all enjoy! We've got a lot of magnet based projects in the works for floating props, helmets, and more so stay tuned!
