Aromatic Orchid - Oil Diffusor and Incense Holder - with Spinning Leaves
byForgeCoreDon't have a 3D Printer? My models print great with These Printers (affiliate)
The best smelling 3D Print ever designed? I have always wanted to design an orchid, but I could never think of an idea for what function it should have. Eventually i realized that since it's a flower, it should smell nice. And the fact that Orchids normally have sticks to hold up the stems made this the perfect oil diffusor. Add on the spinning leaves to help increase the scent and this became one of my favorite models to design.
But how does it work? There is a container in the middle of the plant that holds the oil (or an incense stick). Put a few reeds inside it and you have an oil diffusor. The leaves are attached to a bearing made with small metal balls, which lets you spin the leaves to get a boost of scent.
The Oil container has a small hole in the bottom to hold an incense stick, if you prefer incense. The stick is held perfectly upright so all the ashes fall into the container.
It is recommended that you print two containers if you want to use both oil, and incense. So you don't mix the two.
Customization: Orchids come in all different colors. Feel free to print the petals and inner petals in whatever colors your like! blue, pink, yellow, purple etc. And don't forget to upload your make so we can see them!
