After i testet most of the y-tensioner out there, it came like everytime: i made my own.
Why?
- some are too weak and broke (in resepct of the designs i dont link them)
- some do not fit, cause they are for a different Anet A8 (earlier designs)
- some do not fit for my understanding of "fit" (0.9mm space to the frame is too much)
- and so on.
This one is 0.1mm spacing to my frame, which is the early 2018 one of the Anet A8.
You need 4 screws, M3x16mm and 4 M3 nuts. + M5x25mm for mounting the pulley in place. The holes in the parts are 4,6mm so no need for a nut.
The printed screw is a M14x2 , so you can use also the screws from the other designs. Most use the M14x2 i printed. If you print mine, be sure your printer is well calibrated! The tolerance is very small, thats my understanding of a good print and of course printer.
Have fun with the part. And look also to my other designs.
Picture i make when my camera is back....
