Jack-O-Pint
Hi folks!
A Halloween Ice Cream pint holder was a must and nothing wins a good old Jack-O-Lantern 🎃 It is multi-part - no need for AMS, CFS, or any other multi-color system. The holder has been tested with Ben & Jerry’s and Haagen-Dazs pints, but you may need to rescale it for your preferred brand. To help with that I included a Size_Tester.stl—print it first to check the fit. If it’s off, just scale all parts accordingly.
Features include:
- Storage for two spoons on the back (Slightly larger than previous versions)
- A hole at the bottom to help push the pint up when you’re done
- Swappable inserts to change the color of eyes, nose and mouth
Printing & Assembly Notes: All parts (except inserts) require supports - use organic/tree supports for best results. The spoon has a very small surface area - make sure your supports hold tit firmly. Push the handle against the cup (You should use some glue to enforce it) The hollow version has a larger hole at the bottom to accommodate a tealight, So when you are done using it as an ice cream holder you can use it as decoration :)
There are 2 inserts - one can be printed with 2 walls as is, The other one is for Vase mode which will also provide you color transparency when used with a tealight.
Tip 1: Using the inserts will create a slightly tighter area inside the cup - If the previous sizes worked perfectly for you you can increase the size of all parts by 1%-2% to make a bit more room
Tip 2: If you want the insert without the bottom area - Just push those first layers below the print bed, you'll probably want to use a brim in that case.
My print settings: Cup - 2 walls, tree supports 10% infill Handle - 3 walls, 15% infill, tree supports
