Mini Planetary Egg Container v2
This egg shaped container prints-in-place and uses a planetary gear stage on the bottom which allows it to open 4 times faster than its turned.
This is the updated version of the mini egg container I made last year. That version was hard to print and the teeth skipped easy since it was a scaled down version of the larger Planetary Egg Container. I redrew this version at a smaller scale with less teeth and I increased clearances so it would be easier to print. It is easier to print then the previous version but I did still have to tweak some settings for best results but now I get a successful print every time. They only weigh 25g each, so I'm making a bunch to give away. If you have issues with this scale the original egg is still easier to print.
Prints in place with no supports. I printed it with a .4mm nozzle at .2mm layer heights but a smaller nozzle would make it easier to print. Make sure your first layer height is perfect. You may have to adjust retraction settings as a result of short extruder movements.
