You know who I am and what I do so you should have seen something like this coming 😉 Last year's Surprise Gift Box was a huge hit and I was looking to do something similar but with a more "Christmasy" feeling and I somehow came up with this 🤪
There are 4 versions of the sock - Clean one, Star, Christmas Tree and stripes. You will get the nicest results if you have an AMS but you can also print in one color. The middle finger is printed separately and nothing here requires supports.
Assembly:
The lower part of the hand has a screw hole and inside the sock you'll find the screw. To connect them, extend the hand - then screw it so it aligns like in the photos - It has to be aligned this way for it to extend out.
My advice is to put some super glue on the inner part of the screw hole so when you screw it in it will stay glued - do not collapse it in until the glue dries out.
The hand is not a circle but more elliptic so it does not turn freely - This is why you must align it correctly.
This is sort of a "V1" design - So I might do some changes according to feedback just as I did with the collapsing middle finger.
