The Articulated Spine-Brain! it's a detachable Articulated Brain + Spine, It has 4 parts to print. Brain, Spine, Tail & Base.

Please read all instructions before printing!

This model relies on Physics and weight so don't go crazy with all sorts of weird 20 walls, 80% infills as this will not work :)

The default size is pretty big - 50cm end-to-end and all parts will way approx. 250-300 grams at 5%-10% infills so take that into account before scaling up.

Scale:

When scaling up (if you actually scale it up...) The spine will curve more and will become rounder, and the brain heavier. When scaling down it will be the opposite..

This is just the result of physics + 3D printing.

The added base will work well with 80%-100% scale - but should work scaling smaller as well (I did not test every size but maybe 70%)

If you do go crazy with a huge size (reminder that this one is pretty big at 100%) then you will need to tilt/rotate the base to compensate on the angle - if you actually want to do it see the last image I attached here.

I would say when going up for every 10% - tilt the base 3 degrees

120% = 6 degrees.

Why am I tiering you with all those numbers and angles?? Because this model really really relies on Physics and Weight :) I could just say print it at 100% and that's it, but I want to give you options as well 🙂 So take these things into account!!

If you ignore the base - you can really print it any size you want.
