#TidyDesk - This extremely elegant and multifunctional monitor stand π not only creates better viewing angles for doing things like (learning fusion 360 with Product Design Online) π and posting thangs on (thangs.com) π. Butβ¦ It also works as a compact smart assistant stand directed to the listener so that you can work more efficiently, along with having a built in cubby to keep your desk neat and tidy π. But wait there's more, this stand also has cable management built in via a small groove in the back so that it can stand flush with the wall π. In terms of making the physical object, this is enhanced for printing because the top and bottom can be printed separately and joined together with pegs π. This allows it to be printed with no support material and if you want your monitor stand to be taller you can print a taller bottom piece, making this design environmentally and cost conscious because of the reduced material use π. I went through a few iterations with this project, some of them include size/ tolerance changes, adding the groove in the back for cable management and adding a fillet to the cubby because the plastic was pretty sharp π οΈ. Aesthetically, I designed the stand to join the monitor and assistants together by combining their design language π. Thanks for this great opportunity and good luck to everyone participating.
