LPE Exhaust Quick Release and Mounting System
Quick Connect Exhaust System v1.00
If you're running multiple 3D printers — or any setup that needs exhaust or vacuum ducting — managing a tangle of hoses and clamps gets old fast. The Quick Connect Exhaust System is a modular, tool-free ducting system designed to make connecting, disconnecting, routing, and mounting exhaust hoses actually pleasant.
The Quick Release Head snaps on and off with one hand. The whole system rotates freely when connected, so you can reposition without fighting your hoses. And if you prefer traditional pipe clamps, every component is fully reverse compatible — nothing is locked into the quick-connect approach.
Key Features
- One-handed quick connect and disconnect — no tools, no clamps required
- Free to rotate when connected — reposition hoses without disconnecting
- Snap-lock mounting brackets — print-in-place swing clamp latches securely, releases with a thumb press
- Modular and expandable — mix and match connectors, extensions, and manifolds to suit your layout
- Reverse compatible with standard pipe clamps — use what you already have
- Scales to any size setup — single printer to full multi-printer manifold runs

How to Build It
Each accessory part (Straight Connector, Y-Connector, Fan Connector) is assembled from rings that glue together. Apply a bead of CA or epoxy glue around the mating surface of each ring before pressing together. Extensions (LPE25-X81, LPE25-X82) slot in between the rings of any accessory part, letting you dial in the exact length you need.
The Quick Release Head (LPE25-H00) can be used on any connection point in the system and is optional — any connection can also be made permanent or secured with a standard pipe clamp.
See the Selector Guide and Build Guide images for full assembly diagrams.

oh, wow, I really like what you have done. The magnetic dock is fantastic too. Thank you for posting.
McFrickin genius
Can you size this to 4 inch tubing?
I have a 2.5” to 4” adapter but if you mean make the quick release head actually 4”…. I am not sure but can try if you want to do the testing. If you are up for i5 please email me at logicalplanet3d gmail.com.
any chance you have a single port wall manifold version? :)
Yes, the single port wall element is included in the set linked here... https://than.gs/m/1206813 Let me know if you have any questions.
Has anyone been able to print the head with an X1C? Bambu Studio seems to butcher the support structure from the original STL file.
oh, that usually means you do not have "detect thin wall" enabled. It is under the Strength/Walls section in Bambu Studio. Also, in Quality/Wall generator set wall generator to Arachne. Please let me know if that helps.
That now seems to slice correctly, will give it a go thank you. Also, awesome models, you do some fantastic work!
