Here's the first of many auxetic structures I've been working on. These 9 connected cubes make a great little fidget toy and demonstrate auxetic structures that expand simultaneously in every direction (in 2D)!

Printing Guidelines
Fairly loose requirements, just make sure your printer isn't overextruding and has decent cooling so none of the parts fuse. I used 0.16mm layer height, 3 shells. No supports!

The covers are for the 18mm and 30mm versions of the Auxetic Cubes (not this 20mm version that was an earlier test). You can find those here on Thangs, as well as the covers by searching for "auxetic tile". Enjoy!
