Many things are designed to hang from nails and screws... but maybe you don't want to put a hole in your wall, or want to hang from a window, mirror, or some other fragile surface. That's where these EZPZ Dummy Nails come in handy!

This vast collection includes different sizes and depths of 'Dummy Nails' that can be mounted using Acrylic Tape for a strong but impermanent hanger. If you need a configuration that isn't included in the download, just make a request in the comments and I'll add it ASAP!

Printing Guidelines

Choose the STL file that is best for your needs. They are named by head diameter, nail depth (length of the narrower shank/shaft part), and dimensions of the mounting rectangle. Heavier items call for a larger mounting rectangle.𐘃

• Print using 2 shells and 100% infill
• 0.12mm layer height for a very smooth and clean print, but larger height can also work fine.
• Arachne wall generator
• Use a brim is bed adhesion is an issue
• PLA works for lightweight objects, but you may use a less creep-prone material like PETG, ABS, ASA, etc. if the part will hold heavier objects or be exposed to warmer environments

All parts are designed to work with 20mm (3/4") wide Acrylic Double Stick Tape. You can use VHB tape for stronger and more permanent uses. In any case, refer to the mounting instructions and strength specifications of your specific tape to choose the appropriate size of mounting rectangle. Many double stick tapes have a 'cure time' before adding weight to reach maximum strength. You can also lightly sand the surface of the print to remove layer lines for some extra adhesion strength (200+ grit wet/dry sandpaper).
