This is for a very specific use case in which a specific clipper is used with no guard attached.

Background:

I cut my own hair with Remington HKVAC2000A with no guide attached to it so I can get really close to my scalp. Maybe it's because of my ridiculously thick hair, but lots of hair seems to escape the suction airflow into the clipper's receptacle and fall all over the bathroom vanity and the floor, negating the whole purpose of the vacuum clipper. I realized that the opening to the vacuumed receptacle was too far away from the blades when no guard is used, increasing the risk of rogue clipped hair pieces, so I decided to design an attachment which would extend the wind tunnel closer to the blades.

Design:
  • It is designed to fit where a guard would normally fit.
  • Consequently, this thing could not be used along with a guard.
  • v3 has more contoured surface but should fit the same as v2.
