I enjoyed printing the [Love Bug Caterpillar](https://bit.ly/lovebug-thangs) by @ChaosCoreTech and turned it into a train on tracks 😄 I printed the Love Bugs in [coextrusion filament from 3DJake](https://www.3djake.de/3djake/magicpla).

If having issues with clearances, try printing the tracks 1-2% larger.

Love Bug Railway

Helper tool for 3D printer E-steps calibration.

Print either tool (larger one provides more accuracy) and use with [my calibration wizard](https://bit.ly/Esteps).

Tools feature filament marking points and a built in ruler for measuring the error. The larger tool includes adhesion supports that need to be removed before use.

Extruder E-steps calibration tool

Connector housings for the Mill Max 4-pin 4mm connectors. I used to run these for hotend wires in order to swap hotends on my PitStop 1 extruder.

**BOM** (for each connector)
- 2x 8x5 cylinder magnets
- 2x 10-12mm M3 screw (countersunk screws are safer)
- 2x slim zip ties
- 1 Mill Max pogo connector (mare or female as needed).

Makes hotend tubes 25mm to 55mm long.

Print with 0.4mm nozzle and typical settings.

Length and widen

Fits ANY spool. Up to 1Kg as is (see photos), scale up for larger spools (see "Larger spools" section).

Can be printed on a Mini 3D printer. Prints in one piece, pre-oriented, zero assembly.

Option to pass the filament through a guiding hole.

**Print settings**
3-4 perimeters
20-30% infill
Material: PLA is more rigid with less friction, while PETG is less brittle.

**Larger spools**
Scale up depending on printer and spool size:
For 2-3Kg spools (up to 300mm diameter) scale up to 128%. If it won't fit your printer, try scaling it less on the Y axis (using non-uniform scaling). Scaling Y to 125% will fit an Ender3, while keeping X and Z scaled at 128%.

I prefer storing all filament in dry boxes, but this is my next best option.

**Printing**
- choose one size (5, 10, or 12) and print one of the lids and one of the bases.
- print with 0.4mm or 0.6mm nozzle at layer heights up to 0.3mm and 0.4mm respectively for fast printing
- enable "detect thin walls" if using 0.6mm nozzle
- to save material, you can use 10% rectilinear infill with 0 degree fill angle. With a 0.6mm nozzle you can print only 1 perimeter

**Troubleshooting**
For the lid clip to work, printer needs to be well calibrated, with a flat and leveled build plate and extrusion calibration. If the lid is still difficult to take off, try filing the lid clips. If the lid releases by itself, try increasing XY Size Compensation.
For safety precautions, I don't recommend holding the full box by the lid.

TZe Label Tape Canister

3D printed caster wheel adapter for Ikea Adils table legs.

Recommended print settings: 4+ perimeters, 30%+ infill. No supports needed.

Requires caster wheels and screws. I recommend heavy duty caster wheels with a locking mechanism that prevents swivel.

Distance between screws measured diagonally: 51mm. Let me know if you need a different size.

If you want to pick up the table, add a bit of double sided tape to prevent the wheels from falling off.

Warning: risk of injury. Do not use with heavy load.

An enclosure for one spool of filament featuring desiccant cages and hygrometer for reducing and monitoring moisture on hygroscopic filament.
