This is a paintable 1:144 scale model of an Albatros C.XV. Since many painters choose their own mounting system, no peg is included on the plane. Pegs can be purchased separately in the Accessories section of this catalog.
Only a few Albatros C.XV aircraft were delivered before the Armistice. Sources are divided on whether it saw action in the closing months of the war -- we know only that it did not show up in the last Frontbestand records of August, 1918, and that orders for it may have been placed as insurance against inadequate supplies of the L.V.G. C.VI and Halberstadt C.V. For an Albatros two-seater, it was unusual in having widely staggered wings. After the war it saw civilian use.
