1:144 Rumpler G.I
This is a 1:144 scale model of a German Rumpler G.I bomber. Since many painters choose their own mounting system, no peg is included on the plane. Pegs can be purchased separately in the Accessories section of this catalog.
A small batch of the Rumpler G.I, aka the Rumpler 5A15, was built in 1915 for operational evaluation. The plane proved useful and it was followed by the Rumpler G.II. According to one source, they were withdrawn in August 1916, but _Frontbestand _shows one on charge on 31 Oct 1916.
Their serial numbers were G.15-18/15. G.15/15 saw operational evaluation by Kampgeschwader der Obersten Heeresleitung, while G.17/15 and G.18/15 served with Brieftaubern Abteilung Metz.
