1:144 Rumpler G.II
This is a 1:144 scale model of a German Rumpler G.II bomber. Since many painters choose their own mounting system, no peg is included on the plane. Pegs can be purchased separately in the Accessories section of this catalog.
Operational experiments with the Rumpler G.I led to the more powerful Rumpler G.II. Most G.IIs saw service with Kagohl 2, which served on the Eastern Front, in Bulgaria, and finally on the Western Front in October 1916. Their serial numbers were G.106-117/15 and G.119-130/15.
The last of the series was modified to use the 260hp Mercedes D.IVa, presaging the Rumpler G.III. In some cases on the Eastern Front they were used as escorts for more vulnerable C-type two-seaters.
