Practical Printing - REPRAP Edition!
The Elegoo Neptune 2 is a popular value oriented 3D Printer with a lot to offer. It even includes a Filament Runout Sensor stock! That causes one issue though, SQUEAKING.
As filament enters the center it rubs on the side of the guide hole of the sensor and it squeaks annoyingly. This guide wheel assembly makes it so the path of filament entering the Sensor is straight on. Thus greatly reducing or entirely eliminating the squeaking.
This mount screws on right on top of the Filament Run-Out Sensor, using the original Screw holes for the sensor. You need longer M3x25mm screws to sandwich this mount and the sensor to the Neptune 2.
Included are 2 different wheels for this. One is intended for use with a 608RS bearing, which presses in and uses a pair of spacers to mount with a single M3x25mm screw. If you do not wish to purchases bearings (I find them useful for various things), the other guide wheel just rides on the M3x25mm screw. HOWEVER that is likely to squeak on the screw, so I'd recommend the bearing version.
