Voron Hex Pattern StealthBurner Toolhead
Hexagons maker everything better!
This is my version of a Hex Pattern Voron Design StealthBurner toolhead face. It has a hex pattern on the front that consists of multiple bodies for multi-color 3d printing using THIS method. It also has some internal geometry changes to smooth part cooling air flow & provide additional space for Fan PCB mounting. This allows the StealthBurner face to sit more flush against the rest of the toolhead when using something like a BigTreeTech EBB SB2209 CAN Board (my use case in particular). It may work well with other fan PCBs, I have only tested it with the SB2209.
Split the STL into “Objects” in your slicer, delete the main body of the design, then print JUST the Hex in your chosen color. Go back and reslice JUST the toolhead main body (deleting the Hexes) and print that over top of the hex pattern. This requires setting you Z-Hop on retractions to .4mm or greater so that the nozzle will not drag on the hex pattern parts. See this video for a more detailed tutorial of this process:Parts Needed (Affiliate Links):
