Corner Braces - Printer 20 Series Extrusion Gussets

This model is restricted by licensing terms.

Practical Printing - REPRAP Edition!

These braces are intended to strength and stiffen a 3D Printer's frame. I used them to remove the front top bar from my Ender 5 Plus (a mod I cannot yet recommend).

Designed to be installed with M5 Machine Screws and T-Slot nuts onto 20 series Aluminum Extrusion frames.

I'm including 2 files, the original ones I used on my Ender 5, and the new Larger Versions that are the maximum size useful for the Ender 5, which I haven't printed yet. The smaller ones may be decent for printers smaller than the Ender 5 Plus.

  • INCLUDED FILES:
    • CAD STEP File to learn how I designed these.
    • "Large" Gusset
    • "Small" Gusset

  • PRINT PARAMETERS:
    • No Supports Required
    • 6 Perimeters MINIMUM
    • 50%+ Infill

Mine were printed in Inland Black PLA+

Thanks for sharing your corner bracket design. I had some small corner brackets already but your bigger brackets really locked up the frame nicely.

How long of bolts are required?

No, this is intended for machines with a square frame. The "I3" style frames like a CR-10 or Ender 3 have the Gantry (x axis/z axis) riding up and down that frame. These braces would interfere anywhere that I can envision on an Ender 3 of any version. Except maybe if you replaced the Power Supply with ONE of these, that is the only thing I could see.

Will i be able to install them on my new ender 3 max? do your think it will fit?
