Darth Vader’s Collapsing Lightsaber Single Extruder Multi-Part Version

This is the updated more accurate multi-part version of the original "sith" collapsing lightsaber. It has been broken into different parts so they can be printed separately in different colors then glued together. There are locators for making the parts easy to glue together. The cap is screwed on so the blades can be printed separately then inserted or replaced. You will need to do some filament swaps at layer heights for a full color version.

None of the parts require supports. For best results use a .4mm nozzle. You can print the blades all at once concentrically or one at a time in vase mode. Find detailed instructions on how to print collapsing swords on my website.

Assembled with Starbond Medium CA Glue (aff.)

Printed on the Mudex rep-rap IDEX printer. with Polymaker Metallic Pro PLA

Everything is printing well except the blade in vase mode (maybe is my printer : Bambu P1 ) . I also send you an email to help me fix the issue but no response from you . You can align the top section so it can be more like the real one but this is just a suggestion . You can also change the Single Extruder phrase because the grip is made of 2 colors , or at least specify that we have to pause the print and change the filament.
