This Galaxy Edge inspired switch plate cover works with the Control Panel Switch Plate buttons that I made previously. I also added a dimmer switch option with two different knob choices. It uses standard wall rocker switches or dimmer switches and replaces or goes over the top of a standard cover plate.

There are 1, 2, 3, 4 gang versions, there are two versions of each back plate. The standard version will replace the switch plate, and the “cover plate” version will go over the switch plate. I recommend using the “cover plate” version because it is the safe option as a 3D printed PLA cover plate is not CE or UL rated.

The cover plate versions are slightly thicker, and the cutout for the cover will require supports. The back plates are split into different stl’s for a multi-color printer, but they can be joined for a single color print.

The cover uses #6-32 screws, but they will need to be longer than a standard plate. I suggest using a ¾-1” long screws but I found it cheaper to buy this wall plate screw assortment, then a single length. The dimmer knobs are two parts that glue together, so supports are not required.
