Thangs is excited to support the 3D printing community by partnering with ELEGOO for the 2024 Cosplay and Halloween Costume Design Contest! ELEGOO has just revealed their first Core-XY printer, the highly anticipated Centauri Carbon, at Rapid + TCT. Thangs Designers now have the unique opportunity to be among the first to test it out.

As a hub for top 3D designers, we encourage everyone to join the contest and share their Cosplay and Halloween creations using the hashtag #ThangsLovesELEGOO across all social media platforms for maximum exposure.

Prizes

• First Place: ELEGOO Centauri Carbon + five rolls of 1kg filament

The upcoming and much-anticipated Centauri Carbon is the first CoreXY printer from ELEGOO, and if you win, you’ll have the chance to be the first to test it out! (Not Yet Released!!)

• Second Place: ELEGOO Saturn 4 Ultra and three bottles of 8K grey resin (Learn more)

How to Enter

1. Upload your Cosplay or Halloween Costume Designs to Thangs.com starting now and add #ThangsLovesELEGOO to your model description.
2. Share them with us and our partners on your social media platforms using @Thangs3D and @ELEGOO and @ELEGOO_OFFICIAL, and don’t forget to tag #ThangsLovesELEGOO for better visibility.

Submit your designs by October 23, 2024, 11:59 pm ET.

Contest Rules and Guidelines

1. Fantasy, Sci Fi, Space Themed designs are acceptable but please do not reference copyright names, people, or places!
2. All entries must be original works created by the entrant.
3. Winners and their entries may be documented and used for promotional purposes by Thangs and Thangs contest partners.
4. Employees, contractors, and family members of Physna/Thangs are ineligible to participate.
5. Thangs reserves the right to disqualify entries that violate contest rules, terms of service, or community guidelines.
6. Accounts will be monitored for authenticity and suspicious engagement. Thangs may disqualify makes/users if necessary.
7. Designers cannot submit other people’s designs or use additional accounts for submission.
8. Thangs reserves the right to ban users for malicious activity or spam behavior.
9. Designs refer to images of 3D printed designs hosted on Thangs.

Terms and Conditions

1. No purchase is necessary to enter.
2. By entering, participants agree to the contest’s conditions.
3. Entries featuring drug references, unauthorized business logos, or explicit content will be disqualified.
4. The judges’ decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entertained in case of disputes.
5. Entries may be used for promotional purposes by Thangs and ELEGOO across social media platforms, exhibition displays, Amazon product pages, and advertising campaigns. (No matter what channel 3D models are used in, ELEGOO commits to make sure model designers are credited! ❤️)
6. Contestants must upload their models to Thangs.com for consideration.
7. Winners retain intellectual property rights as per Thangs’ terms.
8. Winners will be contacted via email within five days of selection.
