We’re running it back for a second time to celebrate Thangs turning four.

The Thangs #throwback contest showcased amazing models uploaded to Thangs over the last four years. It was a huge success with the throwback models accumulating more than 10,000 downloads in a week!

It was such a pleasure to see all the throwbacks that we’re running the contest again!

Designers, once again, it’s time to showcase another one of your favorites designs from the past four years. This design contest is simple; no additional design time is required. This contest is open to categories and the rules are as follows: re-upload your original design and include the tag #throwback to enter the contest.

The three designs with the most downloads will collectively win *$1,000!

Designs: “Jack”-o’-lantern By I3D & 18 Boo Buckets by thelightspd.

Here’s how it works: the design with the most downloads within one week wins. The top three designers with the most downloaded models will have the chance to choose their prizes, awarded in the form of a gift card or voucher.

Prizes:

1st place: $600 💸

2nd place: $300 💸

3rd place: $100 💸

The contest kicks off now (September 16, 2024) — let’s see your favorite/best work!

*Money is received in the form of a gift card or voucher from a reputable vendor or establishment of the winner’s choosing (BestBuy, Microcenter, Amazon, etc.).

Timeline:

Entries must be uploaded between. now (September 16, 2024), 1:00pm est and Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 11:59pm eastern standard time.

Download totals will be accumulated from the date of upload through Thursday, September 26, 2024 11:59 pm 📊.

Rules, Terms, and Conditions:

No purchase necessary.

Only one model entry per designer, the use of multiple entries including #throwback will disqualify the designer and all entries.

Thangs reserved the right to decline the purchase of a gift card for select vendors and will offer alternatives.

All eligible models must be original works created by the entrant.

Entries featuring drug references, business logos (that aren’t their own) or explicit material will be disqualified from the contest.

By entering this competition, entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to the conditions.

All eligible models must be uploaded in the timeline referenced and be assigned the tag #throwback to qualify.

Contestant’s models must be uploaded to Thangs.com to be considered as an entry.

Winners and their models will be documented and may be used for promotional purposes.

The contest and awards are not open to Physna/Thangs employees, contractors, or their families.

Thangs reserves the right to disqualify content that is not inline with contest rules, terms of service or community guidelines.

Thangs will monitor accounts for authenticity and suspicious engagement and reserves the right to remove designers from eligibility.

The use of multiple accounts is prohibited.

The judges’ decisions are 100% final. In case of dispute, no correspondence will be entered into.

The winners will be contacted by email within five days of being chosen.
